Firstly, for many people it is now second nature to complete
major transactions using the web. People certainly buy cars,
holidays and search for homes on the web so it seems logical
to sell via the web as well.
Secondly, people are increasingly dissatisfied with what
estate agents actually contribute for their fees. Many offer
only basic web advertising on poorly maintained websites.
I have many instances of people calling an estate agent about
a house they had just seen on his site - to be told that it
had been sold months ago, but the site had not been updated!

In our view, if a house is advertised for sale at the at the
right price, it should sell. It has been shown many estate
agents over value to get your business, then waste time gradually
dropping it to the right price, by which time you may have
